Php MySQL Table Manager 2.4
Php MySQL Table Manager 2.4 has just been uploaded. Support for set and enum data types was added, thanks to Lesley for pointing out they were missing.
SitePoint have released some excellent articles lately. PHP5: Coming Soon to a Webserver Near YouBy Harry Fuecks gives a good overview of PHP5. Introducing Cron by Aaron Brazell, looks at using cron to schedule php functions.
PHP MySQL Table Manager
The PHP MySQL Table Manager has been updated. Mostly a bug fix for the Add Column function. Thanks to Ari Laine for picking it up and the notification.
Zend have released an article by Craig Davis, JavaScript Powered PHP Debugging which looks at using JavaScript to write error messages to a separate window.
Website promotion
After many years of neglect I have updated the promote page which is simple guide to website promotion through search engines. Thanks Daniel and Sven for the corrections.
Darrell Brogdon has a new article up at Zend about templating with PHP called How Not To Use A Template System
Sniffer
Thanks to Basje for pointing out the sniffer was incorrectly detecting the minor version of Netscape 6.1 or greater as 6.0. I've fixed the problem and version 1.2 is now available for download. If you find any similar errors let me know so I can fix them up. It's hard to test all the different combinations of operating systems and browsers.
PHP:MySql Table Manager
The Menu of the PHP:MySql Table Manager has been updated. A button to take you to the tables of the current database was added and the Table Manager Start button now takes you to a listing of available databases. Also a permissions error when trying to create a database has been fixed.
Another thing I've been playing with over the last couple of weeks is a CSS Generator, there's still more refining to do but if your interested in having a look be my guest.
